The Strategic Land Group (SLG) has secured a new promotion agreement in Ribble Valley, which could deliver around 150 new homes.
The six-hectare site offers the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of much-needed homes, while supporting the council’s longer-term development strategy.
SLG will now promote the site through the Ribble Valley Local Plan process, working with its advisers to assess the site’s potential and secure its allocation for residential development.
Paul Smith, Managing Director at SLG, said: “This is an exciting opportunity to promote a well-located site in Ribble Valley that could help deliver new homes as part of the borough’s future growth. We look forward to working closely with the landowner and our planning team to progress the site and demonstrate how it can support the area’s long-term housing needs.”
SLG is one of the UK’s most successful residential, commercial and renewable energy land promoters and is actively promoting sites with the potential to deliver almost 4,000 homes with a combined GDV of circa £1.2bn.
Gowling WLG advised SLG on the legal aspects of the promotion agreement. and Asteer Planning will act as planning consultant on the project. The landowner was advised by Ingham & Yorke, while Oglethorpe, Sturton and Gillibrand provided legal advice.
